By plane: the main and nearest airport is Milan Malpensa International Airport,  at about 30 kms from the centre of the town of Varese.  Malpensa is reached by several flight operators, including low cost companies. (see the list below)

Special shuttle buses will be avalaible every hour, from the airport to Varese, to AtaHotel, on thursday april 8th, friday april 9th and saturday april 10th in the morning, from 9.30 to 13.30.

From Malpensa to Varese the FNMA public bus line starting from bus stop n° 16 or the Malpensa Express train with connection in Saronno are available.
As an alternative, you can choose for trasferring to Varese taxi cabs or rental cars.

Varese Tourist Office is open from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and from 2.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. from Monday to Saturday.

You can reach Varese also from Linate Airport (Milan) which is 60 kms far from Varese and Agno-Lugano airport (Switzerland) which is 27 kms far from the town.

By train: Varese can be reached by train direct connection from Milan, Cadorna or Porta Garibaldi Stations.

By car: Varese can be reached by the motorway "Autostrada dei Laghi" - A8 Milan-Varese.
